We're All Ears-September Challenge

September's inspiration for many a challenge this month is the Sunflower. I love bright yellow as we tumble like leaves into the fall season.

I concentrated on the Yellow, the brown center and put together these little flirty darlings. I chose a brass filigree with a dark designer finish in rusted iron from Bsue Boutiques  which also carries brass Lever backs, added a brown cabachon and dangled these cute yellow flowers.

These earrings will be added to my shop.  show me your inspirations, dont be shy leave a comment and I will see you next week.

ABS March Challenge

This is the Inspiration Photo for Art Bead Scene March Challenge

I realized I had purchased new beads in the theme And color of the inspiration photo from Summer Wind Art on Etsy.    So I chose his bead
Summer winds bead is wood burned and hand painted. It is advertised as a bracelet bead but I wanted a long whimsical Necklace and created this layered piece.

Gorgeous Artbead I immediately loved the soft spring colors when shown in a FB group

Birds and flowers go together so well

The Blue gemstones capture the Blue skies

This is my Tassel so to speak. I added a beaded chain and made a layering Necklace which is attached so I would have one piece to grab and here I am sporting the goods.
The little flower is constantly turning and that is why I put a pretty piece of brass on it.  It is pretty which ever way it lays

Thank you for spending this time with me and my newest Piece. Hop over to the Art Bead Scene and catch all the going on.

ABS October Monthly Challenge

This month the Challenge photo is "Dragonfly Lamp" You can go HERE to Art Bead Scene and read all about the Art and Challenge. So I found a Dragon fly connector in my stash by Green Girl Studio's. I purchased the connector at Beadfest this year when I met the multi talented Andrew Thornton and William Jones.
With Vintage, Art Nouvea came along at the end of the Victorian era in 1890 and lasted through the Edwardian era 1910. Jewelry was influenced by Nature, and Japanese art. Elegant sweeping lines that evoked movement of water and clouds.  Leaves, flowers, birds, and dragonflies as well as depictions of the female form. Elaborite enamel work in muted shades.  So I colored the connector with yellow and purple coloring.  To the glorified(gloria influenced) lol, Dragonfly, I added czech glass flowers, yellow agate gemstones with crystal rondells making my dangles and suspended from chain.

Necklace from the back as Pretty as the front

I loved these colors and was inspired to create one of my Cameo in purple with this color scheme also:

Thank you so much for stopping by. Remeber to wear Vintage, Its new again.

Allegory Storm Cloud Challenge Reveal

I
Today is the reveal for Allegory Gallery Storm Cloud Challenge. This is the kit  20 designers purchased

There is always a Mystery component that is handmade from Polymer by Andrew and I forgot to photograph it, but you can see how I used it.  First up are these eclectic funky earrings.  I need some long Artsy earrings as my hair is longer these days. Using my stash, some Labradorite chips from kit and the tiny Czech glass flowers from the luxury blend I created these beauties. They are lightweight and surely pack a statement

I then took Andrew's mystery component all light ,silvery like sparkling winter snow and I wanted to add more shiny swirls. I don't know why,  I just did. So I wrapped it with Silver Parawire added A Jessie James bead and tassel creating this long Contemporary Necklace.

Brass Chain from B'sue Boutiques , Fancy square Hill tribe silver clasp and I made a dangling charm from the luxury mix

I added a few more swirls using wire.  Sometimes I experiment

Love how it turned out

Tassel for Whimsy

My little not matchy matchy set

I am not finished creating pieces for this collection but did want to share the beginning's with you. My widowed mother remarried a year and a half ago.  So this past weekend they threw a party and invited his family our family, guess who catered!  I cooked for 85 people. So I am a little tired, what with Beadfest the week before, but my spirit and Joy are here with you.  Thank you for stopping by and let me know your thoughts.

We're All Ears May Challenge

Earrings every day Posted this lovely Photo of a Pink floral Teapot as May's Challenge
  We're All Ears Challenge
In my stash I have teeny tiny tea cup charms with this pattern, so I twisted some wire, dangled the cup, the spoon and a pink czech glass for these lightweight funky earrings to wear.

As always thanks for stopping by.

Bead Peeps Swap N Hop

Sunday was the reveal of the Swap N Hop, I was away at a Workshop, arrived home only to find a very close cousin has passed. Two of my staff are out sick so I am posting late. I hate when people commit to a hop and never post so I hope later than never is acceptable my fellow designers. This swap is hosted by Linda Anderson with aproxamately 53 designers in tow. This swap and Hop held many challenges for me. I am a pink girl, my favorite colors to design with, Pink, Purple, and greens. My favorite metals Vintage Brass in Brass Ox. I Luv pearls and gemstones and Artisan beads. I love sparkle and shine.
My partner is Teresa Schurter whom I have found to be cheerful at all times, regardless of the Pitfalls life throws her way. She is a stay at home wife, and mother, and a designer at TreeZ's. Treasurs
Teresa Schurter's Profile Photo
Teresa designed these pieces

This is the reminder of that beautiful box Teresa made and sent holding supplies:
Beads in Orange, bronze, brown, and white. Copper Jump rings, not the pink face, its just been laying on my messy work table for about a year now. Smh, I digress. The little baggies of beads are labeled Korean, Czech or Japanese

The focals were either Polymer clay flowers or a Polymer cabachon in a Brass mount which is actually two sided and the attached bail is copper. So I chose this Brass focal instead of the Polymer flowers as I am a mostly Vintage brass lover. Her color of choice for me was Orange, Her metal of choice for me, was mixed, Copper and bronze.  These colors and metals represented to me a challenge within a challenge.

Copper Links, Matching polymer beads and Copper handmade clasp
Flip side of Polymer Focal which Teresa herself has made.

So as you see I am adding the tiny beads made by Teresa to the Jump rings she also made. Blue, Orange, white and Green are in the pendant, Blue and white will be  Major contributing colors in my design since this is spring time of the year. So first we need mixed metal Earrings, and finally a neck piece.  I do not like matchy matchy, but coordinating complimentary pieces that mix well.

These earrings have the same filigree, but one in brass ox and the other is copper to represent the mixed metals.

I used the Clasp as indicated in the challenge

I used a Copper and a Brass Ox connector of the same design:

Teardrop Sea Glass from my stash
