Dry Gulch Color Design Challenge : February Reveal

Colors are Soft Moss, Pale Butterscotch, Baby Pink, Faded Barn, and Gray

So I grabbed my pearls.  Love pearls. Pink pearls and gray pearls. Faceted green glass beads, some crystals a few yellow gemstones.  I had some gorgeous Pink Czech glass Flower beads and a beautiful Artisan bracelet bar by suzieqbeads and Green resin flower dangle, Yellow glass and brass f lower dangle and a beaded dangle

Honey Do Color Challenge

 Sarajo Spurrgeon Wentling challenged by her husband this month, with this photo and the colors he pulled from it. Sarajo then asked a few designers if we'd like to play along. I thank Mr. Wentling for the inspiring challenge, I thank Sarajo for the invite to play along and here we go.  These were some of the color components that I selected. The center of the flower leans more to Burgundy or a Dark brown but I wanted Black (Artistic Liscense)

First up Earrings, the black hats I showed last friday meet three group challenges this month and its a first for me. Earrings Everyday third friday of the month you make earrings from an inspiration Photo. B'sue Boutiques Creative Group Finished up Friday.  I had a lot finished but could not post everything to the reveal of the Honey Do Challenge, lol.Thats what Sarajo has named the Challenge.

One of the challenges for myself this year is smaller simpler designs. Every Necklace does not have to be a large Statement piece. It can be a mini, lol.
So this Necklace is Dainty full of color for the Ladies who dont like big showy pieces.  However my heart needed to create that statement piece.
Nice piece of Jade with gold and Honey Agate gemstones,Carnelian gemstone rounds, Olive green glass pearls, light green glass Spectra beads, Large Brass flowers all from B'sue Boutique as well as the BlackDesigner finish Brass used in this collection.

I was unable to complete bracelet in time for reveal but that will be in my shop by friday as well as the earrings.  Lets hop and see what the designers have created.

We're All Ears ::February Reveal

                                                 

This Brass statue is the Inspiration this month. When I first saw this inspiration photo it did nothing for me. I kept going back every few days staring at it. Then I noticed the hint of turquoise. Then I saw the waves, I just gave up.  Then this week I looked again and said silly Sherlock, its all about the metal, the brass.  So I pulled out some brass flowers of which I am so fond of. Then we all love pearls and I had some gold ones aquired from Pine Ridge Treasures. Then I spied these gemstones with waves of goldtones and shine. So elegant and they can be purchased HERE

Since it's all about the brass for me and I had the flowers out on my workstation  I decided to decorate these Black brass Top hats purchased from B'Sue Boutiques, are they not just fab!

Art Bead Scene January Challenge

January inspiration comes from this watercolor "Landscape with stars. by Henri Edmond Cross." Yellow stars in a shades of Blue sky.

Focals and Earring pairs

I used the Mokume Gane and also made some funky beads, Focals and Earring pairs.

I then of course had a beautiful Blue house bead in my stash.  It was made by Caroline Dewison of  Blueberri Beads.  So I created a long charm Necklace.

Brass Heart locket, Chocolate Brass Ribbon Bow, White Czech glass maple leaf, filigree brass bead and lots of sparkle.

I took the Brass Heart with the MatteBlack designer finish and created a long Necklace.  Long Necklaces seem to be the thing this season.
