Art Bead Scene May Challenge

UThis month when I jumped over  to Art Bead Scene I was pleased to see the PINK inspiration in this Photo:

Beige, Orange, Teal, and Pink. I had the most gorgeous Gemstone in this bluish green color.

So I paired the Gemstone with an Artisan Lampwork bead from Grace Lampwork Beads. I kinda hoard my beads from her. I met her at beadfest one year and she makes all her beads individually.  In my stash I have these Orangey Pink beads with a splash of the Blue green running through it and they pair nicely together.

I then created these coordinating earrings.

Thanks for Joining me in this challenge.

Andrew Thornton's Hidden Cove Challenge

Today is the reveal of the Andrew Thornton's Hidden Cove Challenge. Growing up Blue was my most favorist color, (she laughs) My kitchen was blue and white with those blue willow plates and saucers.  I even have this cute Teapot set.  Living room was Sky blue and white with Navy blue wall to wall carpet. Bathroom Courtesy of Sears was Blue, beige and white. That was like twenty years ago.  When I purchased my house my mom said I hope everything is not going to be blue. SMH.  This is the Hidden Cove Kit I purchased, had to have it.

This kit features a selection of premium Czech glass (both new and vintage), vintage lucite, vintage acrylic, waxed cotton cord, manik-manik Indonesian lampwork glass, a vintage seed bead mix, dalmatian jasper, wood, an African trade bead, a strand of sodalite and a Luxury Bead Blend

The Secret Component
First I created the earrings I could of gone on and on, so many pretties in the kit. A matching Charmie Necklace. Andrew's kit and my brass charms from Bsue Boutiques

Brass Heart Charms, Chocolate brass, Brass puffy Flower, smiling face, a clock the photo doesnt quite capture all the sparkle

Finished Up Friday With B'Sue

Well, pushing the limits and finished the cameo Necklace. I added the Cameo to a mount and attached to the slotted petal stamping.  Just gorgeous.
These beads I had in my stash actually match the cameo with their deep Brown, Tan and Red marbling.  I love the marbling in Jasper stones. I also have Glass spectra beads, and filigree brass beads from B'sue Boutiques in the neckline.
The Finished Necklace using one of my favored Stampings.
In my quest for cohesiveness I used the same stamping to create an assemblage focal with matching earrings.  The earrings are also finished. Leaf stamping, tulip stamping all sold by my girl B'sue.  The Boutique also carries ceramic flowers and non tarnish wire.
I sealed them with Diamond glaze and a spritz of Krylon.

This is the matching focal for the earrings and Completed Necklace with Angelite gemstones

Thank you so much for visiting.  Hope to see you again, "Wear Vintage, its new again."
