BUILD A LINE CHALLENGE BLOG HOP PART 2

I am late to the gate posting today.  This building a line has been really challenging for me as well as the other Artist involved.  Some are having problems with what direction to go.  Like me they are used to making large glorious pieces, sometimes these artist don't even make earrings.  So to now include these items in a line, jussst a little stressful.  Some Artist always create tiny delicate jewelry so to make a larger statement piece is a challenge.  Brenda broke it down to us their are tiers to our makering. Always good quality, but low tier inexpensive,a middle tier of  moderate and top of the line.  I started creating and didn't feel like I had chosen enough design elements.  Then an Aha moment. Wait, one of my design elements is color.  The colors will change according to the season but definately a design element.
Colorizing Bsue Boutique Brass
Now that Aha moment began to help me along. First tier is earrings even though the more decorative the more the price; they are still tier one

These Tiny Tulip bead caps and my wire wrapping make for a pretty and delicate tier one purchase.

These Brass hearts Little larger still delicate cost a bit more at about $15 still tier one.

More Brass and detail these lovelies are still at tier one. Next on my Agenda was  Bracelets.  I have a couple in mind but I will share one today.  It has all my elements, color, sparkle and shine, wings with my humming bird and a Heart. Comes in at Tier 2

Matching Pendants in Spring colors.  After all this is the Spring line of Wings and Beads. One of the thoughts that came up in class discussion "Are we creating specialized Branding for our line.  For me the answer is yes.  I am ordering new biz cards and I have my own jewelry tags being created, OMG I am so excited.  I will tell you more abought the packaging in the next hop.  Necklace / Pendant one Hangs 13 inches to the tip of the bird.

The second Pendant/Necklace hangs 17 inches and the clasp for both are located on the side near focal for easy off and on. Brass Heart, pearl Chain all from Bsue Boutique

Now I really have to get to duplicating these pieces and finishing a few more tier 2 pieces.  One of my work spaces (cause I am a pink girl, lol)
I also have a Steam punk Heart you will have to come back to see the completion but here is a preview
I have enjoyed my time with you and hope you did too.Grab your tea and visit the other Artist, and  Remeber to wear Vintage it's new again.

  2. I love. These will sell well for you. I adore the wire wrapping you did on the mini tulip cap. If this is the little one, you could also do the same thing for the bigger tulip caps because that pair of earrings has really caught my eye! I love your necklaces too and can't wait to see the finished propeller heart. Great job!!

  21. Gloria I adore your color choices! If the image of the Gazebo is what you're trying to invoke in your creations you nailed it darling! That's so much like the border print I've put up in my hallway & girl's bedroom :) It's a very favorite of mine & I can see the color inspiration has really bloomed in your work. The pearls just glow! :D

  24. Great fun reading your blog! I really love how there are separate green necklaces but then two can be worn together with their pendants for a spectacular effect! Way cool. Looking forward to seeing these pieces in pinks and purples and everything else you come up with! BTW, I think the tulip earrings should be farther on the period and more pricey! :):)
