Today is the reveal for the Pine Ridge Ceramic Blog hop, sponsored by Lisa Lodge. When I saw this picture with all the bight spring colors, I was thrilled to welcome spring at last. You all know how I love my color. So I just had to be part of this hop. Since everything is randomly picked I had no cause to worry the picture was full of color. However, when I received my kit it was brown. Don't get me wrong gorgeous brown Jasper, a Pretty Ceramic with a lacey pattern from grubbi, rondells, clasp, a strand of white glass pearls but everything else brown. This is what I received in my kit
Always up for a challenge, first a pair of Jasper wire wrapped teardrop earrings

You never cease to amaze me, Gloria!!! Lovely, lovely!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe brown, but you made it shine!
ReplyDeleteGloria - you made a lovely set! I especially love the necklace. Picture jasper is one of my favorite stones. Thanks for being in the hop!
ReplyDeleteYou made that brown kit shine Gloria! I love every piece you created! So very lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour pieces are all beautiful. I love the pendant you made of the Grubbi piece. You always combine brass with other beads so well - those second earrings!
ReplyDeleteGreat designs for spring, or any time. I'm a big fan of both jasper and earrings, so this is right up my alley. Love what you did with the pendant, too.
ReplyDeleteI like how you used two different chains in the necklace. Nice job! I like this challenge, but I am soooo over full already. Maybe, just maybe I'll join in.
ReplyDeleteYou really made brown work, introducing just a bit of color here and there and made a stylish jewelry set! I couldn't help but notice the wire wrapping over the bead caps in one of the earring pairs - such a great detail!
ReplyDeleteYour necklace is beautiful. I love the earrings that you made too.
ReplyDeleteLooks like our spring in Michigan! Not much green or color yet. You really elevated the kit pieces into a beautiful collection of jewelry. I like how you used the filigree to make the focal bead pop.
